OFFSHORE PLATFORMS

This course is to prepare students to the different type and function of offshore platform, field development and concept selection details. The students will be introduced to the various types of offshore platform (fixed and floating),design selection according to industrial standards,  development of design phases, concept selection, platform fabrication, transportation and installation and the impact of environmental to the platform.  Students will integrate their knowledge by drawing the platform using AutoCAD software according code and standards.
