PETROLEUM EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION

This course allows students to integrate knowledge and practical skill on the activities and technology involved in the exploration and production of petroleum with good ethics practices. The course covers topics such as petroleum geology, reservoir engineering and drilling technology.

After completing this course, the students should be able to:

CLO 1: Describe the fundamental of subsurface geological aspects of petroleum
formation and processes involved in petroleum exploration and production

CLO 2: Conduct testing method according to standard operating procedures
applied in petroleum industry. (PLO4, P4)

CLO 3: Adapt the standard practices of field development plan in petroleum
