About the course
This course will help the students to acquire knowledge and perform process technician and plant operator duties effectively as an individual, and as a member in operational team according to standard operation procedure (SOP) in process plant.
What you'll learn
- Interpreting process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Operating valves, pumps, compressors, and other process equipment
- Monitoring and controlling process parameters
- Responding to abnormal operating conditions and minor troubleshooting
- Practicing workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Communicating effectively within the operational team
- Documenting and reporting plant activities according to SOP
