This course will helps students to prepare themselves develop social interaction, positive values and leadership skill in order to be more responsible, independent and useful to society. There are two categories in this course whichare Clubs and Uniform Bodies.
INTRODUCTION TO PIPE ANALYSIS
This course covers topics such as the introduction to pipe stress analysis, elementary of piping design, pipe span calculation, piping standard and codes, pipe supports and pipe stress software application.
FLUIDS MECHANICS DLP3A
This course allow students to acquire knowledge and skills with a good
responsibility needed in the field engineering .The course cover topics such as
properties of fluids, concepts of pressure and pressure distribution, the theory
and application of the continuity equation, Bernoulli equation, Steady Flow
Energy Equation (SFEE), and momentum equation. Students will also be
exposed to the use of measurement equipment to measure pressure, flow rate
and velocity
Piping Design
This course covers topics such as fundamental of piping system, piping & instrumentation diagram, equipment layout and general arrangement.
PROCESS MEASUREMENT & INSTRUMENTATION
This course allows students to integrate knowledge and skills with good team
work attitude in process measuring instrument that are used in the oil & gas
industry. This course cover topics such as linear measurement, pressure
measurement, level measurement, flow measurement and temperature
measurement
